Digital Horse Services (DHS) is offering a sale horse preview service for the Reichert Celebration Yearling Stakes Sale. DHS provides consignors a way to efficiently showcase their sale horses which gives buyers a way to view those horses effortlessly through a group of three flat panel monitors and the internet. This service will be set up in the sale barn from August 10th 2008 through then end of the sale. These previews make it possible for buyers to view sale horses at their leisure. DHS has already begun putting sale horses on the internet and will continue putting horses online through the end of the sales. These online videos allow buyer the ability to view sale horses before arriving in Tulsa, and it provides online bidders with the necessary tools to help them make their purchases decisions. How It Works:
Yearlings sold in the Reichert Yearling Stakes Sale become eligible for the most rewarding western pleasure stakes program in the country - The $300,000 Reichert Western Pleasure Sale STAKES AND The Reichert Celebration PREMIERE SIGNATURE CLASSES: Sundowner Intermediate Two Year Old Western Pleasure and the Non Pro Two Year Old Western Pleasure. Horses sold as yearlings in the Reichert Yearling Stakes Sale are the only horses eligible for these two Premiere Signature Classes to fill the slot entries.
 

♦ This year, the Reichert Yearling Stakes Sale will be limited to 200 Western Pleasure entries. Each yearling sold through the sale may show in two of the twelve Original Reichert Two Year Old Western Pleasure Sale Stakes Classes for 2010. – No Entry Fee.

♦ The Hunter Under Saddle Stakes Sale will be limited to a special selection of only 40 yearlings to be sold during the sale. These yearlings will be eligible to show as two-year-olds in two of the three Hunter Under Saddle Sale Stakes Classes offered in 2010.

♦ ONLY horses sold through the Stakes Sale will be eligible for the Stakes Program. We are discontinuing the “Buy In” nomination.

♦ Yearlings that sell in the 2009 Reichert Yearling Stakes Sale for $10,000 or less will be eligible to show as two year olds in two of five special classes – No Entry Fee.

♦ Horses not shown as two year olds in the Western Pleasure division may return to show as three year olds to show in two of seven Three Year Old Western Pleasure Sale Stakes classes – No Entry Fee.

♦ Consignors will be paid 10% of the winnings from the horses shown in 2 YO Western Pleasure Stake Classes

♦ Videos: All consignors are invited to submit a video of their yearling to be included on www.ReichertCelebration.com for sale preview online as well as at the Reichert Celebration. Videos must be submitted by July 29th to be posted at No Charge to the consignor, so be sure to get those cameras out early!

♦  This year, we’ve combined the consignments into one form, making it easier for folks with both Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle horses. Just check the appropriate box at the top.


We’ve brought back some of last year’s touches that we know everyone appreciated:

♦ The Reichert Yearling Stakes Sale will again be held in Super Duty Arena, the same barn where the yearlings are stalled.

♦  Lounge areas are provided to view the tapes of horses in the main arena as well as in the sale. This is a great tool for potential buyers who will be able to search for and view horses by hip number, sire, section and more.

♦ A full time barn person will be available to assist with your questions and needs.

♦  Additional round pens were added, decreasing the amount of time to wait to longe horses.

♦  Don’t miss the social mixers and dinner parties to be held near the Super Duty Arena, the yearling barn. These are designed to attract potential buyers prior to the sale.


There is still time to consign your yearling to this year’s sale, but please note that the sale does fill up quickly, so submit your consignments as soon as possible. We hope to see you this year in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
