Attention Youth and State Advisors: Encourage your youth…Be a part of the ‘TEAM’

There is NO Entry Fee for this Tournament. The entry deadline for the Youth Team Tournament has been extended to July 30. Please include copies of horse papers and appropriate breed membership card with all entries!

If you are only coming for the Youth Team Tournament, you still must reserve and pay for a stall.

Participants may enter as many horses as they would like (please fill out separate entry forms for each horse); however each individual may only enter a maximum of 5 classes in the team tournament.

CONCEPT: Involve all the youth that attend The Reichert Celebration.

MISSION: To encourage goodwill camaraderie, foster mentoring and reward youth for continuing their education.

DATE: Contest will be on Monday, August 9 at 8:00 a.m.

CLASSES: Ten Separate Classes will be held 
for the All Breed Youth Team Tournament, all breeds of horses will show together.

• Classes: Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Horsemanship, Trail, Performance Gelding, Performance Mares, All Age Gelding, All Age Mare and Showmanship.

• Team Members may only show in 5 classes of the team tournament.

EXHIBITORS:

• All Youth regardless of breed affiliation, ages 10 and over

• Includes Novice Youth Exhibitors

NAMING TEAMS:

• No teams will be named prior to The Youth Team Reception on Saturday Night, August 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.

• Sponsor will draw the Team Captain of each team.
• The team captains will then draw for their first team member and continue down until all youth are placed on a team.
• This allows the teams to consist of multi-breed..APHA/AQHA/ApHC.
• There will be no more than 10 youth per team.

AWARDS:
Each member will receive:

• 1 pair of jeans & Shirt courtesy of Cinch and Cruel Girl.

• Team Jacket
• Ribbons

WINNING TEAM:

• Each Member of the Winning Team will receive a $1000 scholarship

• NOTE: Scholarship Winners must provide documentation of school to receive money.

RESERVE TEAM:

• Each Member of the Reserve Team will receive a $500.00 scholarship

Third Place Team:

• Each Member of the third place team will receive a pair of boots

Fourth Place Team:

• Each member of the fourth place team will receive a new hat.

POINTS will be tabulated on a 10 place—10 point system.
